Selected dwarf form, even more compact than the type, forming very tight and very low cushions, with reduced leaves and particularly dense habit. Proportionally small capitula, borne on very short stems. Particularly suited to miniature rock gardens, alpine collection gardens, and troughs, where its reduced size is a decisive advantage.
Cultivation identical to that of the type, with the same requirement for drainage and sunlight.
